After nearly 2 months I really haven't advanced much. At all. Sure, I've sketched a little here a little there (and by little I mean a mind-boggling small amount), but really haven't improved at all. But I still have dreams, and hopefully when things settle down a bit (basically meaning the summer) I'll have time to do what I really want. And I'm still reading Dracula! It seems I'll never make it through this book, but I want to finish it before I move on. Oh, motivation, where art thou?

So, yes, for some reason I've taking up the task of improving my drawing skills. For the most part I'll be working on manga-type stuff (there is such a wealth of it on deviantart, not to mention a large amount of how-to guides) but would also like to do some traditional comic and realistic portrayals. I have a few goals in mind, the greatest being my own webcomic of some sort. But that, unfortunately, is a far ways away. Wish me luck, anonymous internet peoples!
